How to Slow Down Fan Speed Windows 10

i did a fresh install on my ssd, and are now inquisitive how do i control fan speed? i was pretty trustworthy that i read on a thread lang syne, that in that respect was a program which allowed us to make the fans run faster or slower, depending along the performance of the figurer. but it's just a vague memory instantly.

No, you tin can't really control it directly. Different power profiles, both in Windows and in P4G, leave use the winnow some (depends on how they employ passive and active cooling), but IT's not like you hindquarters manually correct the speed. (There are 3rd party utilities that purport to offer this, but I hear they preceptor't work well.)

so even without p4g, windows will speed up and behind low-spirited the fans to keep everything air-cooled happening its own? i was just wondering because i ne'er hear the fans, and i take in read threads where citizenry say how the fan resound is greater than on the g73.

And a unrefined fan noise is unfavorable why..? My G74SX's fan noise level doesn't seem to match any some other descriptions nearly its supposed noise. I truly wishing to ship it dorsum to XoticPC for repairs but I don't have 2 weeks to meagre.

Yeah, of naturally.

Temp curb and power direction are basic functions of the OS. I find the only thing that gets the G74 ramped upfield is using a lot of graphics processing. Otherwise, the G74 runs very cool and restful.

I'm victimisation the default "Well-balanced" power visibility on my clean Windows 7 instance. I have not installed Power4Gear. SpeedFan indicates fan speed up increases synonymous to the ASUS OS with P4G.
